"Great property...great little town! Local golf course was very nice too! House is very cool...and was well appointed with whatever one could need while traveling. Anything else you may need is within about 1.5 miles or less. Host is very accomodating and responsive. If you are coming through, or staying in Eureka, get this place!"

"We had a wonderful summer vacation! The house was perfect. Loved the location to my daughter’s home and Eureka is beautiful. No complaints at all! I would stay here again!"

"1. The hot tub is not there anymore but we didn't know this upon booking because the original photos did show a hot tub hence why we wanted to stay here. Talking with the property manager it was removed before previous guest caused made a mess of it and it was too much of an upkeep. 2. Upon check-in, the patio door knock was broken. Had to text the property manager. Jay was awesome and showed up right away. 3. Same night at 100am, oddly we woke up to a chirping sound but we couldnt figure it were it was coming from at first. Checked all the smoke alarms and pushed all the buttons. Pulled out the batteries - no luck. Good thing we wanted to be up at 200am to get to West Glacier. Had to call Jay again to come back and figure it out. He pulled out one of the fire alarms and the sound stopped and he replaced all the batteries in each unit just incase. 4. Next night, another one went off at 230am. Guess we didnt need to set our alarm to get up. Text Jay again, and told him I removed another fire alarm. End up putting two outside. 5. The carpet in the downstairs bathroom needs to be cleaned or washed - had a bad smell. 6. BBQ was great / same with the kitchen. 7. Central HVAC is nice for the warmer daytime and sleep time. 8. Housekeeper could leave a second roll or paper towels, we had to go buy some. 9. The location is super quiet at night and you can enjoy the deck for star watching. Traffic is heavy during the day but you can't hear it from inside the house. "

"As soon as we opened the door, we knew we hit the jackpot when finding this place! We loved it as soon as we saw it. The whole place is clean and organized, everything we could think of was already provided to us: clean towels, soap, shampoo, dishes and cutlery, etc. We were only staying here cause we needed a place to stay during the nights, but I really wish we had the time to explore the property a bit more. I feel like I missed out a lot! We got lost the first couple of nights trying to find the place in pitch black, so if you can try checking in during the day and make note of landmarks and when to turn in. THAT SAID, I think part of the appeal is that it is so secluded from everything. Mark and Pattie were extremely friendly and welcoming and we were glad to meet them before we left for our daily adventures. We've been looking to purchase some land for the last few years and this is exactly the type of cabin I've pictured building on it, so finding this gem was an added bonus. If I were to make one small comment about it, I would say getting the hot water in the shower took a bit of figuring out, so be sure to ask Mark or Pattie if there's a trick to it if you can't get it going. Not sure if it was just us. But ultimately it was a very minor thing and had no impact on an otherwise pleasant stay. I'm definitely planning on coming back here when I come back to Eureka again.
