Franziska flat with spacious balcony and magnificent view over the Sauerland

Suite Franziska is a 100 square metre suite for four people with two bedrooms. You enter the suite through a shared hallway, welcomed by warm colours and a 3.13-metre-high concrete ceiling with designer lights. The renovated 70s fireplace with yellow-brown tiles is the highlight of the suite. The open kitchen has warm colours, matching wallpaper, an oval dining table and a restored old cupboard. The living area offers cosy 70s designer armchairs and a restored armchair from the hotel. Large glass windows lead to an interior balcony with a Spanish seating area, ideal for Sauerland views over coffee or tea. The two bedrooms have a valley or park view, both with cosy beds. The bathroom is decorated with 60-year-old mosaic tiles. The suite includes two car parking spaces and access to the park.

The old mountain hotel is situated in a secluded location on the mountain, halfway from Obersalwey to Homert. Our suites offer picturesque views whatever the weather. You can enjoy relaxation in absolute tranquillity, whether on foot, by bike or motorbike. Hiking routes and the Höhenflug trail start directly at the hotel. The Henne and Sorpesee reservoirs are close by and offer water sports facilities. There are shops, restaurants and a swimming pool in nearby Eslohe. Explore the Sauerlandradring by bike along old railway tracks or relax on the terraces and in the park.

The Sauerland, 100 to 150 kilometres from the Ruhr region, is a popular local recreation area, also for the Dutch. The number of overnight stays is constantly increasing, with guests often coming several times a year.
