"My partner and I have just returned from a four night stay at Il Melograno and our biggest regret was that we didn't stay longer. From having worked in the travel industry for many years and being fortunate to stay in some of the most beautiful rooms and accommodation, Il Melograno is certainly up there with one of the best. From arrival we had the most warmest welcome from Maria and Teresa and this remained throughout our entire stay. The room was spectacular and a view that was out of this world. The rooms were exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated and very spacious. The breakfast was way more than we expected and imagined (despite reading previous reviews of how fantastic the breakfast was) but experiencing this for ourselves, all I can say is that it is incredible. We had an evening meal cooked by Teresa that was truly superb and with the views from the accommodation this added to the overall dining experience. I cannot rate this accommodation highly enough and would be back in a heart beat and would highly recommend this to all family and friends. It is easy to get around, under the arch way (near the pharmacy) is where you can catch the bus (every 20 minutes past the hour) and it takes you into Vitari (bus number 1) where it drops you off if you wish to go further down to the beach then it is bus number 68. It is so easy to get around by bus, ferry or train. We cannot wait to come back again next year. Thank you Teresa and Maria xxxx"

Due Relais - Panoramic Sea View Suites

"We had an excellent week at Due Relais. We stayed in the 'Panoramic Room, Queen Bed, Balcony, Sea View'. The hotel was everything we needed and more. Immaculately clean, stunning balcony views, minibar drinks and snacks included, a small kitchen, and a lovely breakfast every morning (a nice cappuccino too!) The staff and the manager, Illaria, are so welcoming and really make you feel at home. Illaria also helped us with recommendations of the local area and helped us with planning days out. They all went above and beyond during our stay, nothing is too much hassle. There are a fair few steps up to the hotel via the private path, but they are worth it and provide easy access down to the marina/ beach. You also get sunbeds on the beach included. As for Vietri Sul Mare itself, it's a lovely traditional and authentic place to stay, full of locals, quaint but with plenty of atmosphere and amenities in both the main town and the marina. Lots of choice for restaurants, gelato, bars, etc. The marina also provides a great base to explore the Amalfi coast. Cannot recommend this hotel or location enough!"

"I think overall this is a great stay, it’s close enough to the city to be walkable but far enough that it feels removed from the very touristy area. The Residence Due Torro would definitely benefit from being small upgrades to specially the bathroom, linens, and ensuring there’s not ants. Be mindful that is it an older building but Italy itself is old, which personally enjoyed and it adds to the authenticity of the trip!"

"Beautiful hotel located on a beautiful cliff in Vietre Sul Mare. Free shuttles in town all day long which was very practical. The town is super cute with great boutiques and restaurants. Near the Salerno Marina if you booked a boat tour of the coast. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We had the most amazing dinner at Il Golfo situated in the hotel. Michelin quality food! Highly recommend this hotel."
