"We were low on choices when trying to book for the NHRA event just down the road in Ennis - when we came across this listing. There were VERY few reviews and I hesitated to book, but I'm glad we did. The house is old and solid, clean, and the neighborhood was very quiet. We were too busy to get to enjoy any of the amenities, but the rest of the house was extremely comfortable. I was able to finish up some last minute work on the big desk Friday morning before we left, and very easily made breakfasts and dinners in the well-stocked and very organized/labeled kitchen, and there's a smart tv in every room. We even got to make some steaks on the "grill" in the house, as there's a searing setup next to the fridge. Pretty cool, never seen this. The pool looked clean and inviting, and the new hot tub area was gonna be perfect.. I just wish we had gotten to use them.We had an issue with the a/c in the bedroom area - and when I reached out to the host I got a response, explanation, and solution within 15 minutes. We will be looking to book this property again next year, but this time we'll bring the kiddos so they can enjoy the pool!"
