Beautifully built and redone totally apparently in 2017, all hardwood, wide halls, huge windows, great porch.More importantly, Haley, the property manager, was instantly accessible and very patient with these two guests who caused a couple problems of their own doing. However, at one point, the air conditioner went out on an extraordinarily hot day in 20 minutes later somebody was at the door. The air conditioner was fixed in 40 minutes and the house cooled...

「Lisa's place was excellent! The check in process was easy. Lisa communicated quickly. And the place was amazing! Wished we could have stayed longer. The interior was clean, furnishings comfortable and the front porch was peaceful to sit on and listen to the nearby creek. It was a.short drive to our favorite area Elkin and close to Stone Mountain and Pilot Mountain. Would highly recommend for relaxing/ peaceful getaway.」

「The area is so beautiful and its remote location is ideal for unplugging and getting some peace and quiet. The cabin is cozy and very well kept. The bed is a bit uncomfortable for 2 people to sleep in, but that's my only complaint. Would definitely recommend for weekend getaways and nature lovers.」

「We had a great stay! I cannot stress enough how close and convenient this location is to the Grassy Gap parking area for hiking Doughton Park. That’s what drew me in to book this stay. We didn’t spend much time on premises, so we didn’t utilize the many amenities…hot tub, fire pits, picnic pavilion, etc…but the stay was comfortable. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and communication was great.」
