Unbelievable customer service. The concierge team are the best I’ve ever experienced. Spectacular hotel

The room was clean and comfortable, especially the bed! I was tucked away from the front of the building so even tho it was Saturday night, I didn't hear any noise from the busy restaurants. The TV with Netflix and Prime was fabulous. While the kitchenette was a nice thought, there were no paper towels, dish rag, or dish soap so I just left a mess which I felt badly about. The bathroom was clean but there were only bath towels, no hand towels which I found strange. I'm sure I could have asked for one but I arrived late and was only staying one night so didn't bother. Checkout was at 10am, which is the norm in Argentina, but they didn't hesitate to allow me to stay until 11am which was very appreciated. The included breakfast was ample and was served one floor below reception. Service lasted until 11am (past checkout which tells me they often allow late checkouts). The location is superb - literally across the street from the entrance to the Recoleta cemetery. There is a "wine bar" on the top floor that is unmanned and you're given a key card to access the automated wine dispenser. There were 4 great choices but portions were tiny. The view of the cemetery from the small terrace is stunning and not to be missed as it's a perspective you won't get otherwise. There was a sauna and very small gym on this floor as well but I didn't use either. Check in and out was quick and efficient. I would happily stay here again as the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Overall, the stay was decent and the hotel met my basic needs. The property felt safe, and Orocasio was especially kind and helpful, which I really appreciated. However, my experience at the café was uncomfortable due to one staff member who was unnecessarily petty and unprofessional. I suggest retraining or educating staff that guests pay to stay at hotel and because of this interaction, I likely wouldn’t stay here again, though aside from that issue the hotel itself was fine.

Exceptional experience at Libertad Hotel! From the initial booking thru the WhatsApp communication internationally to the arrival and the entire stay- simply amazing customer service. A quite small boutique setting with delicious daily breakfasts a warm indoor pool and sought after Recoleta location. Any and every detail was attended to promptly and with Buenos Aires warmth and hospitality. Would highly recommend.
