「Cool little cabin! Right next to the river. Great biking near by. Close to the little town. Quiet and comfortable. Has a small kitchen which was nicely stocked. Was there during a hot weekend (95ish) and was worried about no AC, but somehow the place stayed nice and cool. Would definitely stay there again」

「This little cabin was in an ideal getaway spot close to hiking trails and perfectly situated in the mountains. Be aware that it is a mountain cabin. Everything works, and everything is clean, but it is a rustic. Specifically, there are tricks to getting a hot shower, but don't give up the water heater does work. They just did a whole bunch of improvements, and it made the cabin very comfortable. This is a mountain gem, and I couldn't recommend it more.」

「I love Truckee and this property was perfect for my 2 week stay. Really comfy beds, plenty of towels, close to everything and passes to the beach. Most of the time I was alone and I felt super safe. Plenty of dishes for when family comes to visi. I had a great time. 」

「Right across the street from the lake with gorgeous views from the kitchen table -- we fell in love with Donner Lake! The cabin was comfortable, but rustic as you'd expect for a mountain lake cabin (eg some damage to floors, janky interior doors, kitchen table wobbly). Dealing with Vacasa as a renter instead of an actual owner is always less personal and more commericalized ... eg they were happy to offer late check out, if we paid an additional fee$$ But overall we loved the location, there...

「This a fantastic house, especially if you have kids in your group!! We had eight adults and seven kids, ranging from 2 to 12 years old. Our stay was in August. We used both canoes, the kayak, and the paddle board every day! We also used several of the bicycles, some of the beach toys, and the beach umbrella. The foosball table was in constant use. 「We had a great summer visit with our family of 4. House has a big cabin feel and is very functional. We loved the various decks and outside seating, as well as the direct access to the lake across the street. The road noise can be a bit loud, just a fact of any house along that stretch of the lake. We enjoyed our trip and would return.」

「All of the guests were very happy with our stay. All the amenities were as described. Nicely equipped kitchen. The only thing I would change is to provide a more adult friendly mattress for one of the twin beds, it was too soft and small for a full grown adult. 」

「Entire place was great, even in the August heat of 80 degrees, it was so nice to spend time down by the creek, a quick jump in and out of the water was plenty. We thought we'd go into town for meals, but ended up cooking and staying in–eating lunch at the creek and dinner up on the deck. Can't wait to visit again!」
