Up North Retreat. Tranquility Awaits!!
10/10 Excellent
"We had a lovely stay at the Up North Retreat cabin. Maybe one of our favorite VRBO stays yet! The cabin is decorated so beautifully and well stocked. We lucked out with the unusually warm autumn weather and had plenty of outdoor time to sit by the lake. Had we known we would have planned an extra day to rent the pontoon boat. They weren’t kidding about the breath-taking sunsets. I must have taken 50 pictures of the sky in the few days we were there. I would love return and experience the other seasons."
The Parker House

"Room very clean, beautiful lake view. Did not interact with any staff booked and registered online and restaurant not open days we were there. Would love to go back in summer, lake looked very clean and majestic."

Spacious 4-bedrooms lake front retreat in delightful Alpena area.
10/10 Excellent
"Great place to stay near Alpena, we were in town for a fishing tournament, 2 trucks and boats fit just fine. The overhang was great to back one boat under and plug in. Four separate rooms and beds. Plenty of space, nice big kitchen! The F-16’s flying over from Alpena airport were awesome! Would stay again!"
