「Everything about it was wonderful. The house the style the charming staircase. Nice coffee bar and decor of every room unique and pleasant. The back porch the lights, the little table out front, Main Street ambiance day and night. The street lights out front at night and the twinkling colored lights around. Lots of friendly people around town. Great time and memorable.」

「My family of 14 people needed a place for all of us to stay for the holidays. The twin turrets was a great fit for what we needed. Everyone had their own bed, the bathrooms took a little time to get showers scheduled, since there are only 2 showers, but it worked out. The home was fun to explore inside and out. We went for some walks on the trails, enjoyed watching the ducks and geese, or just looking out at the lake. So peaceful! 」

「We had a family wedding at Pebble Creek Farm, just 6 miles away from The Roost. Ten of us including aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews had plenty of room at the house to get ready for the wedding, and to gather for snacks and games in the kitchen afterwards. 「Perfect get away. This place is about as authentic as it gets. The photos are great, but the true rustic feel can only really be grasped in person. The host is very accommodating and has put a lot of thought into his hospitality. There are chickens that supply eggs. We received honey and bread. It is quiet and so relaxing. The listing undersells itself and is an absolute steal. The home is extremely clean and has more amenities than you could ever dream of. 「We arrived Friday night, the description was spot on, the house was pretty well stocked with everything you’d need. The place was clean and everything was nice. We just needed a place to stay for the weekend and it was perfect for a family of 4. Rebecca was very responsive to messages and her husband Derek was helpful with information about the property. We are planning on coming back in June and hopefully many more times when we are in the area. I even got to hear the turkey’s gobble early...
