We had fun in the area - hiking state parks (Mount Jefferson and Rendezvous), National Park System Brinegar Cabin, Blue Ridge Parkway, Emerald Hollow Mine, Love Valley (horse only town) Christmas parade/ tree lighting, and a mead flight at Stardust Cellars (kid and dog friendly). 「Little Blue Bungalow was very welcoming and comfortable. There are lots of restaurants and coffee shops nearby, and we enjoyed visiting Elkin. We hiked in Elkin and on the Parkway, which was about 30-45 mins away. Really a very nice setting.」
