The hotel is well located and is in a safe area The room was not overly large and is a bit dated. Some noise does come up from the internal cafe downstairs with loud talking and furniture. The staff are very friendly and helpful. A number of restaurants nearby.

Lovely boutique hotel in a great neighborhood! Our room was spotless, we had a bottle of sparkling white as a welcome, breakfast was fresh and delish. The atmosphere of the Castillo Rojo is just charming! Happy hour every day on the patio...just wonderful! The staff could not have been any better! We LOVED our stay at the Castillo Rojo and loved our stay in Santiago!

Our flight was delayed 14 hours, so we managed to get a booking here, Juan was amazing and gave us an early check in so we could drop our bags and go out for the day in Santiago, location is handy to plenty of shops and not too far of a walk to San Cristobal. We also ended up having dinner before we went back to the airport, and the food was amazing. Should we find ourselves back in Santiago we will be sure to stay here again. Thanks Juan.

I felt like a VIP - clean room, beautiful view and excellent service

Hotel is pristine and well maintained. Staff are fabulous; genuinely friendly and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our regular interactions with Vivian, thank you for all of your help! The area around the hotel is not the greatest, but the hotel more than makes up for it.
