We had been here before and enjoyed the quirkiness of the hotel. The decor and construction style are odd and at times impractical, but that creates a unique experience.
This time, we came back for that reason, but I was put off by a bit of stubble in and around the bathroom sink and a soap wrapper on the floor. It made me doubtful if the bathroom had been properly cleaned. We also tried the free breakfast this time, and there was almost nothing. They put out muffins and oranges right before closing, so they packed them away minutes after putting them out. The bagels (with peanut butter and strawberry jam available), yogurt, and Raisin Bran were the only things fully available that I would consider food.
Lastly, I'm not sure we were charged this, but there was a sign that parking is paid, with various rates for guests and non-guests.
