There are 2 other beautiful picturesque bathing lakes nearby, the Turner See and the Gösselsdorfersee, where you can also go swimming. The region in southern Carinthia offers other outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling and running.
Directly in the town or in Völkermarkt there are sufficient shops for daily needs as well as a good selection of restaurants.
