"First of all it could not be found. My sat nav couldn't find it. Varney Rd did not have a street sign and I don't think 44 actually exists. It took over 1 hour to locate this den. The key lockbox is situated on a wall, unmarked, and with all adjacent doors un numbered, on what can only be described as wasteland behind some shops. Once I located the keys (2) I brought my car around to park on this wasteland and was met by a couple of males getting their 'ladies' ready for work. The doors in this...

"Prices were very low and safe. There is a fast food restaurant nearby, which is convenient. Note that there was shampoo and soap, but no amenities such as hairdryers or toothbrushes. No air-conditioning, which can be a bit painful in hot weather. Heat can easily build up. Also, note that this is an accommodation for international students who stay here for more than a few months, and it is rare to find a guest like me on Expedia who only stays for 3-4 days and uses it like a hotel. Top Eaton Hotel Reviews

Village Hotel Nottingham

8/10 Good

"Paying for parking is new and not welcome, and our room was at the front of the hotel and there was more noise than when we have stayed before at the rear of the hotel."

Lace Market Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Easy and friendly check-in. Short walk from the train station. Booked the Ground Floor Superior Room which was felt very deluxe and was spotlessly clean. 5 min walk from Motorpoint Arena would definitely stay again when in the area. My only suggestion is that if you are a light sleeper not to get a ground floor room as was a tad noisy outside and in the corridor."

Urban Hotel Grantham

8/10 Good

"I was very impressed by the standard and size of the room - very good value for money. I was a bit cold overnight even with the heater on as the windows seem quite draughty but other than that it was very good. Rooms are well equipped with everything you’d expect. There was a notice saying no housekeeping unless requested so I was a bit surprised that someone had been in to my room and tidied up during the day. Good that breakfast is now available. There was a fairly basic choice of items on the buffet but the cooked breakfast was good and again all very good value for money."
