「Self check-in instructions were communicated in advance and easy to follow. Rooms were basic, but very clean and adequate for our needs. It was nice to have access to the kitchen and laundry. WiFi worked well. There is an easy but somewhat steep hike to a lovely waterfall right behind the property. Our only "complaint" was that the cruise ship port was directly across the street. 「This property was a pleasant surprise, the photo looked like an Atco trailer (a metal trailer used in Canada for construction crews), however it was spacious, clean and so far the nicest place we have stayed in Iceland. Odd though, many of the guesthouses have separate single beds.」

「One of our favorite spots that we stayed at during our Iceland trip. We were able to see the northern lights the night we stayed. Loved the cleanliness of the room. The shower and toilet were all in one but large bathroom. Would stay here again. 」

The cafe area was under renovation, and breakfast options were limited. Overall we had a comfortable stay and great experience at this special property in Hofn.」
