"I was in Finland on business near Kuopio, and the hotels were full in that area. So, I opted to stay at Tahko Spa, about 40 minutes north. I was glad I did. My wife and I felt like part of the community. The apartment was immaculate and the staff was incredible. In all of my travels to 70 countries, the Finns are amongst the most warm and hospitable."

"The Spa Hotel Runni is a great spa resort. The basic services are a Sauna in the locker rooms and 4 pools (3 jets, 1 swimming). The jet pools were cooler than I am used too, but may be the norm for Finland. We took the optional Smoke Sauna. This was great and worth the 15 euros. There were jacquizzis in the Smoke Sauna facility but they were not operational. It woudl be nice if those were available as well. My wife and I were in the old classic facility. "Positiivisesti yllättynyt. Paikat eivät välttämättä kiiltele uutuuttaan mutta huoneet ja yleiset tilat olivat siistejä ja hoidettuja. Menisin uudelleenkin. Kylpylässä yhteiset pukutilat, taisi olla vain 1 sauna miesten puolella mistä ei oikein sulkemistaikaan enää irronnut löylyjä. Kylpylässä useita eri altaita sekä ulko-, että kylmäallas."
