We used this a base for the beachyhead marathon. Was perfect for our needs. No lift though so expect to be tackling multiple flights of stairs through the labyrinthine property. It was very reasonably priced for location. Though that does translate to the amenities, but if you are looking for a short stay budget option with a bar open 24 hours for guests and 24 acess to pizza, its a great shout and will save you a few quid. Its about 5 or 10 minutes from some excellent local pubs. Though finding parking will be a struggle, but thats the burnden of staying on the grand parade.

Very clean property fairly close to the centre of town. We booked single rooms which are hard to find these days and they were perfect for us. We even had a sea view at a great price. Housekeeping came every day. The room was very warm and the windows didn't open but I brought a fan from home so it was fine.

Room was small and comfortable , door on the bathroom did not shut fully from the inside and the tv remote did not work . The lift was out of order which was a bit of a pain as I had a bad back but overall it was clean and I would definately stay again .

Cheap but faded

Very reasonably priced for it's location and the bed was comfortable. However, the room was very cold and the curtains didn't cover the window which made sleeping difficult. There was also mould in the shower and the decor in general was very faded. You could also hear any internal noise from the corridor and the wifi didn't reach to my room.
