"Really nice and helpful staff, clean rooms in a quiet location. Would go again!"

"Beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean, room was clean. Hot tub didn't work when we were there. The "river view" rooms are overlooking a small brook (I assumed it was the Pemi River!). Complementary breakfast was standard cheap hotel fare (ie, technically breakfast, but not really good food)."

"Very clean and well stocked rooms. You can get extra towels for the pool. Plenty of parking and staff is always welcoming and helpful. We have stayed there many times and love the rooms with kitchen and separate bedroom and pet friendly!"

"Very beautiful 100 year old house, with period furnishings. It is very clean and the hostess was nice and helpful. It is walking distance to the town of Barre which has several dining options and nice downtown. The breakfast was excellent, made with local produce and ingredients. It is a great location as a base to visit different places in Vermont."
