The couple running this place is truly so sweet and kind so it was difficult to make this review, but I thought this place was dirty and a bit of a nightmare for one reason in particular. I booked for 2 nights after staying in really nice BnBs and at a friend's, so I was looking for something a little lower in price and this was not worth it. I thought of booking a hostel but I had a lot of stuff after visiting for a wedding and this seemed like a better fit. The bed was comfortable and the location was good, but I was there during the heat wave and it was hot. The building is outdated and that would have been fine but it was dirty. The doors were loud and slammed so if someone got in the early hours I would wake right up. Which I could handle, I just thought I would note. Worth mentioning, the towels were stained and there was blood on one of the walls (lol). The fridge was a bonus in the room, but that too was dirty. Now to the nightmare. I called my sister to miserate and I half-heartedly said "I wish I had some tissue, there is no tissue in this place." Because I was in the room next to the people running it, I guess they heard me, and when I was gone to the bathroom, they must've unlocked my door and put a roll of toilet paper in there. Now, how am I positive it wasn't there before? I took photos of the place to send to my sister just beforehand and the toilet paper was not in the picture! Needless to say that freaked me out as a female solo traveller.

If you want to be central to everything, stay here!! Food, shopping and a good time all wrapped up in a very cozy and no elevator so make sure you stretch and pack lite! Also Absolutely NO parking on site or near.

Good stay

Bedroom was very tired and in need of a paint. Shower was awful, bits had been removed from the walls. Whole in the bedroom wall, just all a bit tired and disappointing

Clean warm room, with great shower and a lovely breakfast . Perfect for me .
