I was shown to my room and given info on the heating, breakfast times etc. Breakfast was served by a polite and pleasant lady, the breakfast itself was very nice (I opted for the traditional English). 「Nice property overall, location can’t be beat, walkable to Windsor and Eton and the river. No hot water the first day, difficult to get a hold of staff as there is no overnight staffing. Emergency and contact numbers were out of date, manager didn’t pick up her mobile phone because they didn’t recognise the number calling, which we thought was odd. Water issue was remedied. No compensation offered. Room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Didn’t hear any noise from street or from restaurant....

「Newly renovated and very up to date. Breakfast perfect choices. Bit daunting by self check in but no issues. Only downsides were the walk from The Ridgeway down a busy road (hotel can’t help that!), and that there was no food in the evening (but crockery provided if takeaway ordered ( leaflets provided)).」
