"If I could give more stars I would! This has got to be one of the COOLEST places we've ever stayed. Very nicely appointed. Kitchen has all you need. Its true! You can pick right from the garden and fruit trees. We had eggplant, tomatoes and rosemary from the garden. Pears and figs from the trees. We hiked along the Appalachian Trail! "This was such a beautiful property. Me and my friends were in town for a wedding and we rented this listing for a weekend. It was about 15 min from downtown Lexington which was great. My friends would sit outside in the morning to look out at the view with their coffees plus the fire pit was a lot of fun. There were chickens, donkeys, and cows we looked at and there was a note inside that if we wanted to get up close with the chickens to let them know. Wish we had done that. 10/10 though!"

"A cute little cabin in a good location for our needs. Many things to do all over the place from the cabin. There is road noise both from Interstate 64 and from Midland Trail on both sides of the property, but it wasn't bothersome. To sleep and in the evenings was the only time spent at the cabin, so much to see around the area. Overall, we had a very nice six night stay."

"We throughly enjoyed our stay! The cabin, though primitive, did offer four folding chairs, firewood, some cooking supplies, inside table and chairs, and a nice bed. We enjoyed cooking over the open fire, fishing at the river, and enjoying nature's beauty! The porta-potties (2) were clean and had tissue and hand sanitizer. It was great there were solar lights (2) inside the cabin, and one as a porch light. We drove less than 1/2 hour to VA Mountain Vineyards and had a wonderful time with a glass...
