"My stay at the La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Fort Worth City was disappointing. While the front desk staff was courteous, check‑in took longer than expected. The property is large with plenty of parking, but due to the location and poor lighting, it didn’t feel very safe.
The room itself was quite old — from the carpet to the furnishings. The AC struggled to cool the room and was very noisy. The lighting setup was inconvenient, with a single switch controlling all lights instead of separate toggles. The bathroom was the best part of the room: spacious with a good selection of soaps. However, the shower curtain was flimsy and still allowed water to leak onto the floor even when positioned correctly.
The hallways had an unusual smell, and one of the elevators was out of service, requiring a long walk to the far corner of the building. Breakfast was also not enjoyable. The waffles didn’t taste good, and the eggs were the worst I’ve had compared to other hotel chains.
Overall, I did not enjoy this stay and likely will not book this brand again."
