Everything was perfect. Property is beautiful and staffs are kind. I enjoyed fitness and sauna too. The only drawback is checkout time at 11am is a bit too early. Hope it is 12pm.

Charming dutch property with narrow stairs. Centrally located in Zaandam with very convenient access to shopping, restaurants and only a 10 minute walk from the railway station. The staff were so very helpful and responsive.

Had a little difficulty with the internet on our first day but then it resolved it's self before we had a chance to asks our hosts. Spacious rooms and wonderful overhead shower.

The hotel staff were helpful and knowledgeable. Our room had a beautiful canal view. Walking distance to restaurants, museums. The room was clean and comfortable. We would stay here again.

Amazing experience at a beautiful hotel and town. It is a little outside of Amsterdam but is a convenient town with eateries, cafes, pharmacy, electric charging stations, and close to the windmills. Worth the drive to the chill atmosphere of Middenbeemster. Would recommend!

Great hotel! The rooms are big and modern. We enjoyed a great dinner and breakfast at the hotel. Also, enjoyed chatting with the owner who is very friendly. We stayed here because we visited the Zaanse Schans area. Will definitely stay here again!

I have stayed in several different hotels in Amsterdam. This is the best hotel for the average person -- noting I am sure there are some nicer hotels that would cost $400 a night. This hotel is perfectly located between the Museum Quarter, the old section, next to Rembrandt Square, very close to the mile long walking mall, near other great shopping streets. All the rooms are different which makes them interesting. Comfortables beds, though pillows could be softer. Free bottle of champagne in suite was nice surprise. Loved the tea and pressed coffee set up in room for mornings or chilly afternoons. A steamer in the closet is better than ironing board. Hotel Estherea is a beautiful place, with a fabulous location, great staff, clean, breakfast is great and the cookies,flavored waters and coffee machine are over the top. There are fresh flowers, gorgeous chandeliers and very comfortable sitting areas. It was a real treat and I would go back in a minute.

The property is unique. The commons areas are welcoming and convenient. We stayed here to be close to the art museums, and if you can dodge the bikers and trams for a five-eight minute walk, you will love the experience. The cocktail spread was all we needed for that evening meal, though we did find nearby restaurants that were fun. Breakfast at the hotel was delightful. Most wonderful was the kindness of the lovely women running the hotel. We felt welcomed in Amsterdam thanks to them.

I booked this hotel not knowing it was just outside of Amsterdam in a village called Edam. It was the best thing!! Edam is only a 20 minute bus ride from Amsterdam’s Central Station. We got to see some of the country side and stay at a quaint little Inn for New Years Eve. We had a beautiful romantic dinner in their beautifully decorated restaurant. The only thing that surprised us was the quantity of fireworks that this community produced on New Years!! Amazing. We will surely go back!

The staff were kind and so hopeful and gave amazing recommendations for dining. There is an enchanting bakery only a few steps from the Posthoorn. It was a quiet and cozy reprieve from city adventuring.

Top notch in all areas of a stay in Amsterdam. Had a corner room with glass on both walls. Just a great feel and elegance to stay. Would have given 6 stars if an option. Can walk to Musueum district. Loads of bike paths. Breakfast buffet quality is a whole new level. Like being between airport and city center.
