"The decor of the cottage was stunning. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Location was also really good very near the beach, park, shops and cafes etc. Parking was easy right outside. I would definitely stay here again. We enjoyed lovely walks along the promenade. A few minor tweaks needed to make this a top class stay. Hairdryer and remote control not working correctly - both need replaced. Sofa was not very comfortable cushions were flat and worn. "The apartment was overall very good, only let down by a poorly fitted kitchen tap, which was very wobbly but worked. We appreciated the supplied teabags, sachets of coffee, soap, towels etc. The deposit system was a bit confusing - I expected to see a £250 payment on my card to be followed by a refund, but it seems they just held the card details "in case" so I guess no charge will be made now, after over a week. "Loved the natural pool despite being in it for less than a minute. Sauna opens soon which will be great with that. Greats walks around the estate. POD with warm and fine. Could do with a cooking knife/bread knife. Fire pit wonderful to cook on and sit around. Bed had some grit in so a little uncomfortable but, considering everything else was so clean and tidy that was probably an oddity rather than the norm. Overall loved the place and owners wonderfully accommodating. "

A couple of small suggestions. The bedroom next to the kitchen could do with a night stand / bedside table. The kitchen table and chairs are too heavy and very uncomfortable. "

"What a gem of a little garden house - bright & airy with a great view of the beautiful garden. It was clean, warm & cosy with a super comfy bed & had all the facilities required for our weekend break. It was set in a lovely quiet location within easy walking distance to the centre of Anstruther & an excellent base to explore the very picturesque surrounding areas.
