The owners were amazing, they made sure we knew everything we needed to know before sending us off for our lovely holiday, we cant recommend the steak house above the house more if you are looking for good food and service. They dream is to visit again! Thank you for a wonderful holiday

Amazing property, owners, Nicola and Ana were amazing hosts. Explained and guided us in all the options around Dubrovnik. We only stayed 3days and 2 nights but with their guidance we made the most of it. Property is good too, clean and with all you will need. The pool is lovely! If back in dubrovnik, will definitely conso Ider staying at their property again.

Had a great stay at Villa Samba! Host was very welcoming and had a package of important and useful information about the area. Bit outnof town but easy to get into the city of Dubrovnik or Old Town using the ferry and/or bus, uber. Quiet, safe area with a few nice beaches and restaurants nearby.

Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und es wurde sich Zeit genommen uns Tipps für die Umgebung zu geben und Fragen zu beantworten. Alles war sehr sauber und ansprechend, toller Pool und schöne Aussicht vom Balkon. Der Strand und ein paar Restaurants sind fußläufig erreichbar. Ein Transfer zum Flughafen wurde uns angeboten. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. :)

Enjoyed staying at Villa Samba in Dubrovnik.. Nikola was a great host and was happy to help us with all the info.. The room was quite clean and comfy.Would definitely consider staying here, again.Loved the oceanfront location.

Un endroit parfait pour apprécier le meilleur de ce que la Croatie a à offrir. Situé dans un village calme avec plusieurs plages à quelques minutes de marche et aussi qu’à deux minutes de marche de l’arrêt d’autobus pour se rendre soit vers Dubrovnik ou Cavtat (2 endroits à ne pas manquer). Les propriétaires sont super sympas et s’assurent que le séjour soit le plus agréable possible. Très propre, balcon avec vue sur mer exceptionnelle et la piscine est très agréable pour se rafraîchir entre deux activités. Je recommanderai la villa Samba à tous mes amis/famille qui voyageront en Croatie.

Bon choix pour un séjour de quelques jours

On a été accueillis par Nikola, le propriétaire, qui nous a donné beaucoup d'informations sur les environs; quoi faire, quoi voir etc...Un peu trop d'informations d'un coup, on n'a pas tout retenu, heureusement que la plupart se retrouvaient dans un classeur laissé à notre disposition. On est restés 5 nuits et on a apprécié notre séjour mais il aurait fallu une voiture si on était restés + longtemps car on fait vite le tour des environs à pied ou en bus...Bon emplacement pour une excursion d'1 journée à Dubrovnik. Il faut marcher un peu pour atteindre les petites plages mais ça vaut le coup car elles sont mignonnes pas bondées ! L'appartement est confortable et la kitchenette est bien pratique car pas de resto dans la villa (il y en a quelques-uns dans les alentours mais le choix est limité). Donc quand on arrive, la 1ère chose à faire est d'aller acheter à manger dans un supermarché mais il faut y aller en bus, ou bien Nikola se propose gentiment de nous y amener en voiture. Il y a un lave-linge disponible mais il faut acheter sa propre lessive... Le ménage est réduit au minimum, par exemple les lits ne sont jamais faits et le reste n'est pas fait à fond, mais ça reste acceptable. Du balcon, très jolie vue sur la mer ! Jolie et grande piscine mais attention si vous avez des enfants; leurs jeux seront assez limités car ils ne pourront même pas jouer au ballon sinon quelques gouttes tomberont à l'extérieur de la piscine et vous aurez des remarques du propriétaire ... ;-)

A hidden gem with million dollar view!

We enjoyed our stay! Plat, where the Villa is located, is in the middle of the old town and the picturesque Cavtat, a must go little town. Bus to/from both sides are easy while you have other options available like Uber and water taxi (Nikola offers 20% discount on the boat fare). Beaches around the villa are gorgeous, all we wish is that we could have spend more days here. We will be back!

Great modern apartment, great location and view.

Excellent modern apartment with largest shower I have seen.  Bed was great and a 11m swimming pool was a surprise. Ana and Nikolai were very welcoming with drinks and a lot of information about the area and how to get to and from Dubrovnik. Beautiful view to the sea.

Great stay overall

Everything was great about this hotel, except for the fact that the owner told us off on arrival for being late without having called them first - even though in the confirmation email it had said check-in between 2pm and midnight. Therefore, we assumed it was OK to arrive at 10pm. He also claimed to have called us all day, which was not the case. This was an unfortunate start to an otherwise wonderful experience.

We had a fantastic break away. This is a beautiful part of the world and the food is excellent and very reasonably priced. Nikola, Ana and their son Toni couldn't have been more helpful. The apartment was spotless and modern, it was plenty big enough for the two of us and the air-con was a real plus at night. Everything is within walking distance including the beaches, restaurants and bus stops for when you decide to venture out of Plat. Dubrovnik is a must and is just a simple bus ride away, as is Cavtat, both beautiful places to visit. The coastline is amazing with plenty to do from lazy boat trips around the islands to kayaking. Make sure you go early if you want to walk the walls around Old Dubrovnik it gets hot and crowded later on. Also, if you take the cable car, the ticket gives you free entrance to the museum at the top - most people didn't realise. Everyone was met were very helpful. We tried our best at speaking Croatian, but the truth is everyone we met spoke very good English.

Fantastic place. Superb host. Great location.

We were collected by Nikola from the airport, who stopped off at a supermarket on the way to the Villa so that we could buy provisions: we did not ask him to do this, and we were very grateful he offered. He then gave us a mini-tour in the car around Plat and pointed out the restaurants, how to get to the beaches and the nearest mini-mart. On arrival, he gave us a drink while we checked in, and he gave us information about where to go and how to get to Cavtat, Dubrovnik, and Mlini/Srebrano (which is where the idyllic beaches are). Information ranged from the best restaurants (King, which is about 3 minutes' walk away was superb, a family run restaurant where we were made to feel very welcome and fed like king and queen). It is a quiet area, but the number 10 bus route (which runs between Cavtat and Dubrovnik) is at the end of the road, and runs about every 30 minutes. It was perfect for us. Big,clean, airy and comfortable room, decorated very tastefully and practically. We would not have wanted to have stayed anywhere else.

Stunning views, excellent apartment

I stayed at the villa samba for a week which was lovely and had the most amazing views from the balcony. The owners Nikola and ana were so hospitable I couldn't ask for more. You can get to dubrovnik quite easy from the bus stop is only 5 mins up the road whre it will take you 25 mins to get there(no.10). I would recommend getting a car if you don't like to walk there's quite a lot of downhill and uphill areas. Villa samba is a place I would definitely recommend to all.

Parfait pourq un sejour de quelques jours

La localisation et parfaite pour decouvrir Dubrovnik et le sud de la region. L'appartement et neuf, tres bien equipe et Les proprietaires vous passeront tour Les conseils utiles pour organiser voiture sejour. Les moins ... Les bruits de circulation en exterieur sur Les balcons, moins bien attenues portes fermees.
