「The room was damp and smelled bad when we had checked in. Had I not been exhausted from driving down country roads in a bad storm, I would have driven on. When I woke up, I was covered with bug bites. When I reported it to the front desk, they offered no help and said if I could stay until 3 pm ( it was 8 am), I could talk to the manager. If you’re running a motel and you have a possible bedbug infestation, it is an emergency, unless it is the norm. The manager can’t be disturbed??? So...

「The host was very responsive and very sweet. We spent the week there during Christmas and enjoyed every minute. We found ourselves sitting on the patio looking out to the lake for 90% of the time (the pic they have posted is EXACTLY what it looks like in person). So peaceful! Loved that they provided a heating lamp on the porch so we could stay out there when it was chilly. The home is very nice, clean, and homie. I didnt even know there was going to be a hot tub, so that was a nice surprise....

「We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin! It was a perfect landing spot for us. Spacious for a family of 6. The hosts were super quick to help with an AC issue we had. We enjoyed the secluded location - there is another house right next to the cabin, but they were super quiet, respectful, and kind. We would book this cabin again! 」
