"This is a really good budget hotel and excellent value for money. Our room was really spacious, spotlessly clean and bed was comfortable. Good quality television for a low price hotel and all the channels I wanted. Which you often don't get with more expensive budget hotels. Air conditioning worked well and easy to use. I had breakfast in the main building- really nice ambience, everything spotlessly clean, service really friendly and helpful and my cooked breakfast was spot on. Small but quality choice of continental breakfast- the pastries were excellent and the coffee decent. The whole place seems really well looked after and well managed. We would definitely stay again at a Marston's and especially Highland Gate at Stirling. Thank you."

"A great hotel with very friendly and helpful staff (especially reception) at a fair price. Plenty of parking. Room was excellent, clean and spacious with good facilities, Strong Wi-Fi and great TV service (plenty of channels), Hotel allows takeaway deliveries and even provides dinning utilities. Would highly recommend."

"Although the room was not the largest I’ve ever stayed in, and I would have liked better illumination to do my makeup, my stay was perfectly pleasant. The shower was a delight— a big shower head and lashings of hot water. Being an older building, the sound insulation was much better than in some more modern hotels, lending itself to a peaceful night’s sleep in a very comfortable bed. The location was very good for all that Stirling city centre had to offer. I have already booked another stay for next year."
