"This was a perfect home away from home. Our family of 4, with 2 teenagers, loved staying here. With Fritz cove just steps away, my husband and son spent many hours fishing, and watching the bald eagles. This was a perfect location, away from all the cruise ships in Juneau, but not far from anything. The house has plenty of space, with some lovely touches provided by the owner… chocolates, nuts, spices and cooking basics… we did not need anything. "This place was very close to whale watching and the views were awesome to wake up to. It is a 15 to 20 minute drive from downtown which was a major plus being able to get away from the cruise ship visitors and commotion.I really enjoyed being able to drink my coffee on the front deck overlooking the ocean with different birds and fish in the Bay.The host was very gracious and any communication was very easy. The place had everything you could need. It was very cozy and the bed was super comfortable. "
