Good for a quick break from kids

Overall for a simple night away from our kids & the affordable price, the room was decent. There were a few noticeable issues: no chair for the desk, room phone didn’t work, non smoking room that smelled like smoke as soon as you walked in, and the only toiletries provided were soap & body wash. Positives: Desk clerk was kind & very helpful, check in was quick, while mini fridge in the room wasn’t pretty it worked GREAT, and when we needed more towels they were brought to the room very quickly.

This property is undergoing remodeling so things are are bit rough around the edges. This is my second stay here and it seems, once you get here, you're on your own. No housekeeping comes around to empty the trash, change the towels or make the bed, but it's a quiet little property with some great potential.

For as many cameras as are on the property I felt uneasy where I was placed by the back another renter looked like an extended stayer was blaring music till late. Tv was broken place wasn’t very well put together. I expected not the greatest but better than it was for a days inn

Not a pleasant stay

Normally, if I nothing nice to say, I say nothing at all. This must be the exception. Let me say that the staff did their absolute best. But, the overall condition of the hotel was not good. Paint peeling from the ceiling, overall rundown look of the facilities, insufficient towels, clogged shower drain and no maid service for my entire stay.

Let’s see no shampoo no chair no paper or a pen. air conditioner makes a terrible noise. Sometimes a terrible vibration. no remote so no TV. it’s a real class act.

I booked a 2 bed room, they initially gave me a singe. They corrected it and gave me another room. When I went to it, the door was wide open, there were bugs in there, for some reason there were cigarette ashes in the microwave, and all the soaps were unwrapped and used by the previous resident. It was already 1130pm, so I passed out and woke up the next morning asking to be checked out a day early and to receive a refund for the unused day. It never came. Absolutely dissatisfied with that stay.

I was overcharged for my room. There wasn’t a shower curtain on the shower. The shower head was protruding from a hole in the tile of the shower. There were shopping carts full of trash around the buildings. Some doors were left open to rooms during my entire stay. There were large paint ships spread out over the ground outside of rooms. My room key wouldn’t let me in my room on two separate occasions. They staff were happy to help me reset the room key, but it was frustrating. On checkout there wasn’t an attendant at the desk. I rang a bell and no one responded to help me check out. Overall, this place was not a place I would take my family. I was in town alone for business and would not recommend this lodging to anyone.

I have stayed at different qualities of hotels but never one this bad that forced me to write my first Expedia review to warn all future guests. I am not kidding. Do not stay here. The hotel should be condemned. Health and fire hazards (no smoke detector in one room). Roaches, lots of them in two rooms (from different areas of the hotel) even in the fridge! I am praying no bed bugs but would be very surprised if I didn't transfer them to my home. Nowhere to attach pictures or I would. Of note, the staff really are trying to make the place better and are very southern-friendly. The maintenace guy Harold is very helpful but please, please, don't stay here for your health and safety. I was stopped by a male at midnight in the darkened hallway asking me if I was Mollo. If you don't know what the person you are wandering around looks like it begs one to think that there may be something nefarious going on at this hotel. I am still itching from what may have been bug bites but as a disclaimer I can't verify that it is from this hotel (though it appeared later that day). These are my truthful experiences at this hotel. It does not mean that other guests wont have opposite experiences and strong recommendations. If you read the responses on this site from the staff to negative reviews it should give you an independent indication of what you may experience at this hotel.
