「A wonderful property, spacious, clean, convenient. Two bedrooms with 2 twin beds, two bed rooms with Queen beds makes ample room for large familes or friends. A well equipped kitchen. The Nisa and fruit/veg stand nearby have everything one needs. Would recommend for a Peak District getaway.」

The Fox Cottage was very cosy - very peaceful and relaxing with everything we needed, including a very nice welcome basket with home made brownies which we enjoyed when we arrived after a very long drive. 「A gem of a cottage which had been restored to a really high standard. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, log burner with plenty of wood and loved all the decor/pictures throughout. A welcome basket with local goodies was also a nice touch. We loved the folder full of the history on the property and all the pictures of the other houses/buildings in the village which we went to find on our walks with our dog. Would highly recommend. 」

「Well thought out cottage design very well presented but testing for size - just an extra 5% of space would yielded 20% increase in convenience and enjoyment. Hosts and neighbours are excellent. Parking is unusual but workable. As a couple (one Aussie and one Aussie born in Yorkshire) we really enjoyed our time at this cottage and would highly recommend it. Walk to village is 10 minutes and huge number of attractions within 40 mins.」
