「Incredible views of the lake! Not very clean, there was mold growing on some of the walls and lots of bugs 」

「The property gave a fantastic upgrade and over 」

「It is a heritage hotel in keeping with bygone times. Super close to the mall. Lovely dining room for dinner with fireplace and candlelit. Food was terrific with alot of choices. Buffet bfast but you can request eggs how u like. Some renovation works currently but all staff and workmen encountered always super polite and helpful beyond . If I were to go back to darjeeling I would definitely stay here. ...the drive from bagdogra to darjeeling is an experience in itself.」

「ティッシュ、冷蔵庫等いくつかの設備がありませんでしたが、古い建物の割に手入れがされていて綺麗でした。 朝食の豆カレーとナンがとても美味しかったです。」

「Wonderful, relaxing stay with extra interest in learning about the growing and processing of tea. Delicious food, freshly prepared onsite. Staff friendly and helpful. Room and bed comfortable and clean. Really enjoyed the visit to the tea factory and walk around the estate. Make sure you book the airport transfer - price is reasonable and difficult to find for people who don't know. 」

「Sterling Darjeeling is a great place to stay for a trip to the area. The location is much better than anything close to the mall. You can avoid all the traffic and noise of central Darjeeling. Views of the valley and surround mountains are great. The staff is very helpful. If you’re traveling from the airport, you will get to the property much faster (hours) than any place close to the mall because of all the traffic even though it’s only a few kilometers away. I would highly recommend Sterling...

Avoid winter here. The location and building are stylish, but There is no heating. It's cold and I can't get out of bed. The food is vegetarian, but it's not tasty. The hot water in the shower was unstable, Cold water comes out even when the temperature is 5 degrees. The internet often drops out. There were many power outages. It's the worst...

「Best one to dtay in Darjeeling. 」

「Ranjit was welcoming and helpful without pressure. He helped us arrive meeting taxi and carried luggage to leave. Any questions were quickly answered on WhatsApp. The internet is very fast the TV is good for raining days and the view spectacular when clouds lift. 300 inr is a generous fare from station for luggage a short walk has cafes and little shops. Darjeeling is a hill town walking down from here is easy coming back needs a taxi as all hotels do. Not expensive so good value for money.」

「Excellent room with a good view, both breakfast and dinner options and food quality was very good. Staff was friendly however the pictures associated with the standard room was not accurate and we had to pay extra for an upgrade to the deluxe room ( pictures of which were associated with the standard room when we booked). Staff was friendly and polite but could not upgrade as a courtesy even though the pictures did not match the room.」

「Helping Staff, best view from room, of an valley.」
