Reception Manager was very kind in giving us a late checkout on the last day as we had a late flight home. The room was clean and spacious but disappointing that it face a big construction site. Great pool / beach amenities. Breakfast is a little limited in offerings for the price, we preferred going out to eat.

Really enjoyed my stay at the Waldorf Astoria in Lusail. The staff were extremely professional, caring, and knowledgeable. They always place the needs of the guests first…hallmarks of a true luxury hotel. I was well looked after by everyone. Some of the team members I remember were Sangeeta (reception), Kat (concierge), Vishal (concierge), and Htun (Scarpetta restaurant). Keep up the good work guys, and thanks so much. The hotel itself was lavish, well maintained, and had it’s own private beach. The hotel was within a 5 minute walking distance of the Place Vendome Mall, and other major attractions were easily accessible by quick uber rides. It was lovely to get a sea view upgrade on the room. This is definitely one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in during my international trips. l strongly recommend it.

This is a beautifully decorated hotel with stunning spacious rooms and bathrooms which are very luxurious. The beds are super comfortable and provide a fantastic nights sleep. The hotel is very close to a large mall so there are plenty of dining options but other places are also not very far away with a taxi. The beach and pool area is very nice However the service was a let down. We stayed over the Easter holidays and the hotel was clearly at full capacity but the staff could not cope. Breakfast was a complete mess with the staff not clearly being able to cope with the number of guests in the hotel, orders were late, items were missed off and despite asking for an item multiple times it was still not delivered and this happened on multiple days, tables were dirty and messy and generally was a very poor dining experience. The pool area was extremely crowded with not enough sunbeds for both the pool and the beach area which is not great for a hotel of this standard where guests are coming to relax and to enjoy the beach and pool but there is nowhere for them to sit. The service beachside was very poor, again staff could not cope with the number of guests with orders arriving very late after having to chase and again items being missed off. On weekends you get people coming for the day to use the facilities which adds to the problems even more when the hotel is already at full capacity with staying guests.
