「The cottage is in a lovely smaller sized village that is lovely to stroll in and around. The people I encountered on my walks were very friendly. It is easy to get to other villages. The second bedroom is up 2 flights of stairs which was a surprise but not a problem for us.」

「Had a lovely stay at Windsor cottage. Well presented, great amenities and the most comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Slept like a log! Ate out in local restaurants, which were lovely especially Alberto’s Italy. There are a couple of free parking areas in town 5-10 minutes away. During our stay there was a film set in place for Father Brown and a restriction at the end of the road. It didn’t take away from our stay, but was glad of the premier inn parking just a 100m away. Hat man diese Hürde aber überwunden, so ist es ein sehr angenehmes Urlaubsdomizil in ruhiger Lage mit Supermarkt in unmittelbarer Nähe inmitten der wunderschönen Cotswolds. Thorn house was loved by all of us, it had everything we needed, plenty of space and beautifully decorated. There are shops near by and you get 30% off a specific chinese takeaway when staying at Thorn house. We explored Oxford, which is a 30 min drive.
