「We had an amazing stay at this resort in Dominica—it truly felt like an escape into nature. The views were incredible, and the whole setting was peaceful and refreshing. 「What impressed me most was the feet dim lights when going to the bathroom areas. The AC was very cold fridge worked very well The bed was clean and firm. You got robe slippers and chargers for phones. The food was amazing with heavy duty silverware different not like the regular plain silverware. 「Beautiful serene property right off the ocean and a river. The ocean is not a beach for swimming but the resort has a pool. Peaceful lush environment. An amazing staff all around. Sernita was very friendly and always went out of her way to satisfy our needs. Ellen was very knowledgeable about the island’s plants and allowed us to harvest to make our own unique teas. 「Anchorage Hotel is a great place to stay, close to Roseau. We ate breakfast next door at Ocean Edge restaurant, and we bought a few groceries at Green's Supermarket up the road as you go toward Wallhouse community. Our room had an electric tea kettle and coffee supplies and a small frig. Staff here are very friendly and helpful. We also appreciated having parking just off the street for our rental car.」

「The facilities were ok but the room that we stayed in had no ceiling covering the zinc roof which made sleeping during the nightly torrential rains extremely loud. The areas was relaxing and natural. 」
