"Lovely little cottage and wonderful restaurant and staff. We knew booking there was no pool; planned on ocean swims but water wasn’t very clear and did not appear clean. There are better places to stay at similar price but enjoyed experience. "

"The hotel is isolated from the happenings on the island. I was told that the hotel was fully booked but there were no other cars onsite besides my rental. There was no one available for common questions and the gate was closed by 5pm. This was a manual gate which is fine but the lightening was bad on the exterior of the property making it difficult to see when returning after dark. When it was time to check out there was no one available and I had to shout for a while until a painter came down...

"Just returned home from my stay at this property and I must say that I totally enjoyed it. The house is air conditioned and comfortable and the neighborhood is nice and quiet. If excersize walking is your thing, this particular neighborhood is ideal. You can walk within the neighborhood comfortably-- no need to go to the main road. In addition to everything stayed before, the owner and on-island contact are pleasant and respond quickly to inquiries. All in all, great place, nice stay!"

"Nisbet is on a former sugar plantation and buttresses the Atlantic. The grounds and rooms are well-maintained. It’s very laid back, an older crowd, except for the lively Thursday night barbecue on the beach. Outsiders come to Nisbet and live music is offered. Dinner food is fair, although quite good at the barbecue. Breakfast and lunch are pretty good, but with limited menus. Overall, a very relaxing vacation, but it is best to go off grounds for other experiences and restaurants."

They even started our vacation off with arranged airport transfers, ferry transfer and some basic grocery needs including beer and wine. Their home is stunning with unbelievable ocean views. "This was our third visit to Butler's House. It is one of the most beautiful, peaceful surroundings I have experienced. The house is well equipped and very comfortable. But for me, the perfect feature for the home is that great front porch with its comfortable furniture, constant cool breezes and magnificent view out into the Atlantic.
