"My stay at the Terra d'Amuri was great. The location is perfect within easy walking distance of the Duomo and the beautiful old section of Catania. My stay was made even better by the wonderful and gracious owner, Loredana, who spoke perfect English and was always ready to help with any questions I had about sights and transportation. "The interior of the villa is rustic with a very welcoming wood burning fireplace which was tended by the caretaker morning and night. "The villa is beautiful, lovely inside and out. Very spacious and it really has everything inside you could need. The pool area is very large and the pool is large and beautiful, our only issue was the lack of workable umbrella stands as there is no shade around the pool until about 4pm. We didnt find too much to do local to the villa, there is a nice restaurant (La Taberna) in rucalmuto but we drove to San Leone, which had an array of resturants and beautiful beaches and just 20 mins drive...

"The living quarters were loft style which is a favorite for me. Everything was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was very cute and well organized with many gadgets for the stay. The hotel is central to restaurants and historic buildings and sites. Transportation is convenient and you can find tours and markets that are accessible by just a short walk."
