「Remember to book dinner. The first night of our stay we had to eat elsewhere because it was fully booked and had to wait quite sometime to get served in the bar due to staff shortages」

「朝食はベーコン・卵などの注文を聞いて作ってくれる． 欧米のホテルには珍しくバスタブの給湯が扱いやすい． バスセンターから程近くて便利． 建物は古いはずだが屋内は改装されているようでモダンで快適．」

「One night stay. Bathroom was good with plenty of hot water. Bed could have been better and there was no where to sit besides the bed. 」

「It worked out great for our overnight stay on Orkney. Dinner was very good and breakfast hit the spot.」

「カークウォール港の正面に位置するホテルです。レストランとバーの使い勝手が非常に良く、レストランは非常に美味しく、朝食ではコンチネンタルスタイルや地元のお魚の燻製を焼いたものを選択することが可能です。オススメは魚です。バーではSCAPAの複数のカスクものが楽しめます。部屋は古いですが、コンパクトで使い勝手は良く不満な点はありません。ホテルスタッフは情報豊富でレストランの相談やタクシー等の予約も難なくお願いできました。早朝のフェリーに乗ることを伝えたところ、朝のお弁当も作ってくれました。非常に助かりました。」

「ホテルの数がそもそも少ないエリアですので、選択の余地がない部分もあることを考えると、申し分ないと思います。ホテルは新しくはないですが、十分に手入れされていて、掃除も綺麗に行われていると思います。バスアメニティや朝食の内容など、若干、値段と見合わないと感じました。朝食は、典型的な英国の朝食ではありますが、塩味が強くて、もう少し野菜が多くあってもよいと思い巻いた。」

「Das Haus und die Zimmer sind liebevoll und geschmackvoll möbliert. Das Haus und alle Räume sind ziemlich neu. Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig oberhalb des Hafens gelegen. Die Inhabern ist außerordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit und bereitet ein sehr gutes Frühstück frisch zu, wozu sogar ein aufwendig geschnittener frischer Fruchtsalat zählt.. Insgesamt habe ich es bedauert, wegen meiner Reisepläne nur eine Nacht dort verbringen zu können und kann die Unterkunft nur zu 100 % weiterempfehlen.」

「Our room was very clean and had everything we needed. Eric (the host) could not have done more for us. Breakfast was fantastic. There was free parking provided. We were only a short drive from the main part of town - about 3 minutes? I would thoroughly recommend staying here.」

「Graemeshall House is an old manor house. Truly unique. It was the perfect spot for our visit to Orkney. John, the innkeeper was very hospitable , breakfasts were delicious. Our suite was charming. I would stay there again」
