「A good dinner, good night's sleep and an excellent breakfast - it just could have been more punctual」

「We were warmly welcomed by the staff on arrival and when they showed us up to the room we fell instantly in love with the sea view. The room was very clean and in good shape. What’s more, we ate in the restaurant and the food was fresh, locally sourced and also great value for money when compared to other local options.」

「We were very lucky because both times we parked at the hotel, we got one of the 2 slots in front of the hotel, so we didn't have to try and find the additional parking lot, but the staff did give us a map to find it. Keep in mind that there is no lift, so depending on your floor you need to carry your bags up. The 23kg bag was not much fun to take up and then down 2 flights of stairs.

「Wayne is super helpful! lovely stop for a nice, clean lodge.」

「This was a centrally located bed and breakfast in a lovely old home. The room was very small and there was no desk or anywhere to sit other than one chair. The bathroom was well equipped and breakfast was good. I might have been the only guest so it was very quiet - but very convenient to the ferry terminal just 7 miles away.」

「Great staff and location but my poor rating was because the mattress was extremely soft! Not good for one’s back and the lifts weren’t working.」

「Kamer heel klein Ontbijtbuffet slecht.

「A beautiful place to stay when visiting Orkney. Ideal location to get to all the sights. Accommodation was perfect and Albert and Aileen couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!」

「Friendly, clean and conveniently located. Breakfast was great and the owners were incredibly helpful. Really enjoyed my stay.」
