「Wonderful little resort. Stay in the main lodge, the cabins and lake are 2 miles away with zero onsite transportation. Very helpful staff, Stephanie went above and beyond to ensure my late night arrival was absolutely perfect. She is exactly what genuine hospitality looks like. 「It was a clean and lovely room with very nice fabrics. Also I got everything I needed, I did not feel inconvenienced. A river was flowing in front of hotel, and I slowly relaxed by the garden and the veranda. In the evening the deer was walking slowly in front of me. The BBQ grill in the garden was also easy to use. 「Breakfast was not as nice as during other stays. Frittatas were good though. Issues with our door lock but staff were super helpful. Cabin window and outdoor furniture slightly broken. None were deal breakers, just not as nice as the last time I stayed here. Room was clean and we had what we needed.」

「Loved the view of the river and all the wildlife we saw. From our porch swing we enjoyed seeing river otters, bucks; does with their young, eagles including one with a fish in it's talons and numerous birds and butterflies. The room was comfortable, clean and kitchen appointed with all you need. Bicycles on sight to enjoy the trails or take to town. We had a wonderful/relaxing time and come home refreshed!」

「My stay was not good, for the price I paid I should of had a little better of a stay.. staff was not helpful, housekeeping didn't come around to give clean towels and the blanket and comforter both on the bed had a nasty musty/pee smell and when I went to the front desk to ask for different ones, I was told housekeeping had left for the day and front desk "didn't have keys" for the clean linen closet that the housekeeper took it with her so I had to "deal" with the stinky blankets and no clean...

「We had short one night stay in Mazama. It was a super smooth check in process and we had no issues. We chose Mazama because of the close proximity to North Cascades. Would stay here again!」

「It is a cute place, be ready for a more rustic experience as far as bathrooms and washrooms go. The only thing I didn’t like is that it was a very flimsy lock, and we were the only ones on property for most the stay with spotty cell phone service. That part didn’t feel safe. If there were on site help or other campers around I think I would have felt more safe.」
