"The property is in a serene area. We stayed at the Flamingo suite that is an amazing tent. With living room, huge balcony overlooking the flamingoes on the lake. The staff is exceptional. The food delicious and well served. A very relaxing experience indeed. "

"What a great place! A lot of historic charm and wildlife on the grounds - the staff were amazingly kind and gracious. Reception team was warm and welcoming. Excellent hot showers. In passing conversation, my husband mentioned that the Lake Naivasha Country club was where he proposed to me 25 years ago. The operations manager Danep somehow noted this and a few hours later at dinner arranged to have a beautiful cake made that said "marry me again". It was such a thoughtful touch! We will definitely be back!"

"Amazing place. My Dad had a good time. It was a nice stay as it was a treat for the easter season. The staff were accomadating due to late check in and kindly agreed for Dad to check out late and have lunch the next day which was a nice gesture. Will recommend the lodge. "Getting to the property was tough, very tough but so worth it. I was lucky enough to go outside of the wet season but it was still hard. The facility itself is beautiful and the food is delicious. The staff is beyond kind and helpful. The shower though, it hardly worked and water went everywhere. Booking online on their direct site was giving us a challenge until we booked through Expedia and from here we had no issues. There is not fitness room so that was sad and no iron. However, I will recommend this place to everyone I know and will be coming back. It is such a great place to come stay."

"Newer than its sister lodge in Naivasha, Sopa Nakuru is well laid out and perfectly situated at the top of one of the hills inside Lake Nakuru National park. This made for fantastic panoramic photis and exquisite sunsets. Excellent welcome on arrival with a drink and a warm flannel to clean up after the game drive. Good buffet selection for brakfast, lunch and dinner. Decently sized rooms although most of our time was spent either on a game drive or at the pool. Only issue was that some of the rooms are located on the lower end of the hill. There is a buggy shuttle service but its irregular and gets busy during meal times. Definitely recommend this as a destination from which to explore Lake Nakuru. "

"This is a lovely place for a quiet break right next to the beautiful Lake. The scenery and bird life is stunning. The staff are great too. We were very pleased with the service. Food is average, but there are various options. Some of the hotel is a little run down. However, the positives far outweigh the negatives and I can definitely recommend it if you don’t demand the very best. "
