"This is a beautiful luxury resort. The service was top-notch but be prepared to pay premium price for food & drinks. We did receive an Expedia bonus of free buffet breakfast for 2 every morning but we had to explicitly request that the hotel honor this because it was not originally included; otherwise, this would've cost us $90/day (not a typo) including obligatory taxes & tip! Besides the pool, gym, and 2 restaurants in the hotel area, everything else is very far away: the beach, grocery store, movie theater, marina restaurants, Altos de Chavon area. You cannot walk there, you have to take a very slow-moving golf cart which was included. Cars go around you very fast and upset at all the golf carts on the road. We did not feel safe riding the golf carts at night."

"I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Comfortable bed nestled in a cozy and clean room. All the staff that I encountered were courteous and helpful. The only drawback for me was that the tv channel selection wasn’t very good."

The house staff, Ana and Esther were extra special, always working so hard to please us. Breakfast and lunch was always served with love. The house was always kept impecable. "

"This house was absolutely amazing! The location was so perfect- less than a 5 minute drive to the beach and relatively close to the marina. Omar was simply the best. He met all of our needs and was always there when we needed him. He made us the BEST drinks- cosmos, mojitos and margaritas were his specialities! The meals he and the staff made for us were authentic and delicious! The house was so clean and had everything we needed. The pool was absolutely stunning and had plenty of room to relax. The house was so spacious! "
