"Had a lovely stay at the property but there were a few annoying points. Leading up to the stay I tried to contact them via Expedia and email to request ground floor access but got no response! Parking spaces are very tight, even with a reasonably small car, very difficult getting in and out, almost impossible with a baby. "Lots of space, all the necessities included! They even had the equipment to go rock-pooling. We were a family of 2 adults, 2 kids and a grandparent and were able to spread out across the rooms. It would equally work well for 2 families of 4. We didn't use the spa bath. Good location Would definitely go again, met all our criteria and worked very well for us! "

"The house is very well placed for the beach (though not overlooking it), walks, the shop and Gustav's bar and restaurant (recommended). We were surprised to find the downstairs bedroom was not self-contained, so the other couple had to walk through to access the very steep stairs, the bathroom and the lavatory. The standard of equipment was high - sophisticated hob/oven, dishwasher and washing machine, but no dinner knives! Noirmoutier is glorious."

"Sehr schöne Umgebung, wenige Gehminuten zum Strand. Am Strand hat man seine Ruhe, sehr sauber. Man kann viel auf der Insel unternehmen. Das Haus ist sehr alt aber hat seinen Charme. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und spricht auch gut Deutsch. Er lädt oft zum Essen und Aperetif ein und ist ein sehr guter Koch :) Außerdem kann man mit ihm wandern gehen, die Insel erkunden und erhält viel historisches Wissen über die Insel und Frankreich im allgemeinen. "Lovely, relaxing atmosphere with great pool area and beautiful sea views. Friendly staff. Very good breakfast. Dinner menu a bit limited esp. for younger children and on the ‘fancy’ end of the spectrum (and some dishes were rather style over substance). Can eat out or get takeaway pizza in the next village. "
