"Book this hotel! The hotel is very close to the Kaohsiung train station and many local restaurants. I had several large pieces of luggage with me, but since the hotel is so close to the train station, it was easy to get to. The staff are very friendly and professional. Our room is clean and the decor looks pretty new. I checked out right on the day when Typhoon Gaemi started, and the staff was so helpful by checking the train schedules and providing rain jackets. "We had great time at Hotel Cozzi. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were impressed by the sitting area for breakfasts. The location was great, walking distance or biking distance to any popular local places, and 10 steps away from metro system. We immediately booked the Hotel Cozzi again for the second part of our trip in Kaohsiung the day we arrived. "

"Very good for its low price. It is a simple hotel with complementary coffee and snacks in the lobby. Also, it is reasonably centrally located, a nice plus. As with many places in Hualien, a taxi is necessary at times, but we had no difficulty using Line to call one from the hotel. "

"One word - amazing! The staff is remarkable- they helped us arrange a personal driver to Taroko gorge, helped us order taxis daily but also walked out with us to communicate with the driver to make sure they understood where to go, the free bikes helped us bop around the town for free and the infinity pool on the second floor is amazing. Rooms are great and the beds are comfortable. Nicky at the front desk and Vivian the manager are specific call outs. I highly recommend!"

"This is perhaps the best hotel in the Hualien area, with a top-notch new facility and close proximity to the Taroko National Park which unfortunately was severely damaged by the earthquake on 4/3/2024. The menu and food quality in the restaurant was much to our liking and to our delight, reasonably priced for dinner. Beach was a short stroll away."
