"We had a fishing tourney on the lake and this was the perfect place to crash! Location was great near some good restaurants but set back so it’s quiet. The firefly show last night off the deck was insane! Great amenities, great location, great hosts. Not much else to say. Just wish we caught more fish! We’ll be back!"

"I was so sad leaving Birds Nest this morning because the property itself is so magical. Incredibly beautiful and peaceful. The Birds Nest needs some attention — broken screens, no life jackets, a few details like that — but is well equipped with very comfortable beds. This property would not be everyone’s cup of tea but I adored it and would love to stay there again."

"The sheets and towels were top notch. If I have any thing to criticize it would be the most uncomfortable seating in the living room. It was the fulfilment of a dream of turning back to the vintage style of camping. We had all the other comforts of home. Check the back railing on the steps down to the dock. The railing is rickety . "
