"It was cold early April. At night around 29 degrees, but up to 65 in the sunny afternoon. We were two couples and a dad with an 11 year old, which was an awkward fit for the space. The 11 year old was very happy with the small porch room with the day bed. "House was cute, clean and in a quiet neighborhood. We had everything we needed. I especially liked the fluffy towels. Only about 2.5 miles to the graduation and 15 minutes to Presque Isle for a picnic. Games and coloring things for kids. We didn’t use them but I bet families with kids love that extra. "The house is listed as a mansion. It did not meet my impression of a mansion. It is beautif on the inside but needs some updates. The space for the kids and all the different areas was great. The grounds were under repair and there was no private outdoor space. We did not realize, but there was no bathtub. The property manager was wonderful."

The location right on the shore was exactly what we wanted but I wish we could have walked further on the shore in each direction. The fire ring was great in the evenings.
