"Extremely Disappointing Stay!!!! I’m disappointed with my recent stay. I did not receive what I paid for, which is completely unacceptable. I specifically booked and paid for a king-size bed, but upon arrival I was given a double queen room instead. This was not what I agreed to, and it immediately set a negative tone for the stay. The check-in process was horrible disorganized, slow, and frustrating. It felt like there was no professionalism or care in handling guests. On top of that, the customer service was extremely poor. Staff were unhelpful and did not make any real effort to fix the issue or accommodate my concerns. What makes this even more disappointing is that I’ve had a relationship with this hotel for over 15 years, and this experience was completely below the standard I’ve come to expect. Overall, this stay was frustrating and unacceptable. I did not get what I paid for, and the service did not reflect the level of quality I expected. I would not recommend this experience based on this visit. "

"We stayed at this resort for a week there was nothing to do. everything on their wedsite was false information. the pool bar was closed down, the spa wasnt open, the pool and hot tub were dirty. The outdoor bar Coconuts was terrible and the batendars ignored you and they weren't busy at all. We found huge roaches in our condo and the front desk gave us a hard time with moving us to another building/condo. 1st condo had a broken dishwasher and fridge door, no wash clothes, trash outside our door and we never got housekeeping. The food was decent and the private beach was nice but we did find a place around the corner called Junkanoo beach it's a 2 minute walk down the beach from island of the seas. the food was amazing, friendly staff, a DJ, beach games, beautiful beach and lots of shells and sand dollars. We went there everyday. It made our vacation worth wild. I do not recommend Island of the Seas and woukd never go back. "

"There was no fridge, microwave, iron or telephone. We saw that other rooms had appliances.The safe was broken. The key card that opens the door after 11pm wasn't working so we were locked outside. The security officer was not in place to let us in and nonchalantly stands in front of the door and says "pull" but didn't indicate that he had pressed the button to let us in. There was no one at the front desk to reactivate our key card when it wouldn't work to open our room door. "

"The staff were very nice, but appeared to be understaffed, from the year before. We have stayed at this resort for at least 7 years,,,,this year just seemed not to have all the activities and staff as the have had previously. "

The beach and surrounding landscapes, preserved in their natural state, are breathtaking,a rare and unforgettable setting.We also had access to a lounge-style space, a separate small house designed for relaxation, which added a special touch to our stay. What truly made this experience exceptional was our host, Steve. His kindness, generosity, and genuine care made us feel instantly welcomed. We had the pleasure of spending time with Steve and his partner, an experience that made our stay even more meaningful. It allowed us to discover off-the-beaten-path spots and experience the local culture in a truly authentic way. Steve takes great pride in his property and is incredibly attentive and responsive.Beyond that, Steve is a truly human-centered person; he not only takes exceptional care of his guests but also of his community, which adds even more depth and authenticity to the overall experience.The neighbourhood is equally warm and welcoming, which only added to the overall experience.We genuinely feel like we’ve found a place we want to return to anytime!A true gem we highly recommend this property without hesitation"
