「The place is absolutely lovely, right next to a beautiful river and surrounded by forest. In general it’s quiet, yet the music from the bar was a bit high at times. Breakfast was very basic. The cabin was very nice, generally comfortable but lacking cabinets to store our clothes. The cabin also was not super clean. I would certainly consider staying there again, but I think the price we paid was too high for the quality of the products, services and amenities received. 」

「The property is amazing! I have been traveling to Costa Rica since 1990 and I can tell you Canavida is one of the best values ever. 「Ok so I literally never leave hotel reviews but that changed after staying at Kura! First, I must inform you that it’s a trek to get there driving wise (have them come pick you up) but once you get there OMG! The ambiance is insane and they undoubtedly have the best view in Uvita! Hands down! It doesn’t even matter which room you get. If you are lucky enough to get the room with the shower with the view of the ocean I promise you, you won’t want to leave! We didn’t either! The food was amazing!...

「Had a free weekend with the girlies during our month-long study abroad trip, and we could not have made a better choice than Tiki Villas!! The hotel staff, the view, the pool and spa services—absolutely no complaints from any of us. From the get go, we were treated so kindly; Nancy upgraded our hotel room when we arrived so we’d have more space, and the room was lovely. 「The hotel has a lovely artistic Costa Rican flavor; the grounds are interesting to walk through with statues and many varieties of birds and butterflies. A lovely outdoor patio adjoined my room, and I enjoyed both the large pools. The Crocodile Grill & Bar served great food and drinks. What really sets the resort apart is the staff - they are absolutely wonderful and SO very helpful; they made me feel so special!!」

「Consider this more of a rustic camping-like experience. Cabins have screens, but bugs still come in. Incredible location! Spider monkeys were swinging above our cabin every morning, holwers start up at day break, and capuchins befriended us at the beach. Scarlett macawas everywhere, we saw them constantly, as well as toucans. The beach immediately out front is wavy and rough, but my kids still jumped in the waves daily. The highlight is San Josecito beach, a 17 minute walk along the ocean....

「We liked the hotel overall. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was limited but really good. The pool is perfect. Regarding the hotel’s location it’s both good and bad. Good because it’s easy to get to Uvita but bad because of the noise coming from the highway. 」

「Well Worth the money. Sophisticated luxury, where the staff get to know you. Only 4 families there when we stayed- so peaceful. Food fantastic - cater for all. Diving trip, Corcovado national park and massages all fantastic. One of my top three places I have ever stayed」
