"Our apartment was very modern but the property still has a very historic and, especially, authentic country feel. Very much appreciated the wood stove at that time of year. Only critique was lack of any American TV. While we don't particularly travel to Portugal to watch TV, when we stay in country places at this time year we don't relish driving after dark. Next time we'll know to have our tablet ready for movies."

"We rented the house for 3 days. It is exactly as pictured/described and was very clean and comfortable. The owners were easy to work with and clearly interested in feedback for improvement (we really did not have any, but it was nice that they asked). "A spacious and cool villa with a superb outdoor area for everyone and fantastic BBQ setting that we enjoyed a lot. The holiday would have been perfect if not for the HUGELY uncomfortable beds and FREEZING cold pool. Even after communication, and the pool technician, the temperature was ice cold. It’s also on a fairly busy road (with a development happening over the road - lots of noisy machinery and building works) but that would have been easily ignored if the beds and pool had been better....
