「水漏れにより電気系統がショートしたため別ホテルに行く様連絡を受けた。同じグレード、非常に良いホテルと言われたがトンデモ無いダウングレードであった。結果としてこのホテルには宿泊できず、スリランカの素晴らしい旅の唯一の汚点となった。なお、宿泊代は返却してもらっておらず、ホテルズコムからの謝罪もなし。」

「This place is truly a hidden gem, and the staff is absolutely incredible! It should be on everyone’s list when visiting Sri Lanka. The owner is wonderful; she invited my friend and me for tea, picked us up in her SUV since our tuk-tuk couldn't make it up the hill due to an earlier accident, and welcomed us warmly despite our late check-in. 「A beautiful property nestled in the jungle. The views were amazing and the sounds of the rushing river were super relaxing. The rooms were big and airy. There is no air conditioning but some ceiling fans that do the job perfectly (we were never too hot at night) - the pool with the river view in room 10 was spectacular. "昔からある格調高いホテル。エレベーターの扉も手動方式で、骨董家具を手入れして使用しており、好きな人にとってはたまらないと思います。ですが、電気まわりの取り付け方だったり、古めのエアコンなど、最新のテクノロジーを求める方にとっては物足りないと思います。レイクビューだとよかったのかもしれませんが、シティビューで通りの騒音が夜間も絶えませんでした。"
