"Talking Stick is a very nice resort. Really enjoyed the stay and the grounds were very nice. The drinks at the bar seemed a little watered down and expensive. Had a couple Old Fashion’s and they weren’t good. Would recommend. "

"There was not a kitchen, only a mini fridge. It ended up freezing our food we brought, so it wasn't very helpful. "

"Nice amenities. The pool area gets super crowded with people, placing towels on chairs in the early morning hours, so it’s almost impossible to get a lounge. But, it is a nice resort feel on the property. Rooms are spacious. Restaurant and Starbucks on site are convenient. There is also a shuttle that will take you to the main Old Town area of upscale shops, dining, etc."

"This was the second year in a row we stayed at Adero for our December long weekend. Since the previous year the property has seen some lovely upgrades and improvements. The classes that were offered were excellent for both Pilates and yoga. The room was comfortable and clean. The only thing I don’t like is paying for parking. The location is a get away from the center of the city so having parking shouldn’t be an extra cost. Otherwise would recommend. "

"I would not recommend staying at this property. It is apparent the rooms need to be upgraded. Website states room has utensils, cooking and dinnerware. It did not. Further only 1 towel per bathroom was provided. No trashcans in bathroom. The tubs appear to need refinishing. TVs did not work. When I spoke to manager I was told the dishes were on order but they did not know when they would arrive. The towels were being washed and she would said maintenance to check tvs.maintenance never came that day. Next day I went to talk to manager again told her we never got the items I requested nor did maintenance arrive. Maintenance person did come.AC filter was so dirty and wrong size which is why it was most likely not working. He brought a trash can, broom and filter. He did replace filter, fixed tv. Ceiling fan was so full of dirt couldn’t even use as most likely all that dirt would go into air.the switch for the fan was missing only had the plastic screw part which most likely would need pliers to grab to turn it on. Did not get cookware or dinnerware utensils. I had to go to Walmart and buy items so I could use the stove to cook. No paper towels provided either in kitchen. The door lock is so old and the door did not shut tightly it’s obvious the door had been repaired as they used a metal plate by lock to try and get it tight however it did not. I told mgr my reservation had been made a 9 days in advance they had plenty of time to ensure the room was adequately prepared. "

"For the most part the resort is okay but be prepared to spend a lot of money on food unless you go off the resort. It’s not all that convenient. I wanted to have a relaxing weekend. The pool area is nice but you have to get there early to get a lounge chair. There just aren’t enough for the number of guests they host on the grounds. The food portion sizes are good but my room didn’t have a microwave and the hotel didn’t have any to rent. It was a little frustrating seeing that you spend quite a bit of money on it and if you can’t finish it then it’s pretty much trash because there’s really no where to reheat your leftovers. There were dead bugs in the room decor. Was looking forward to doing yoga but they only offer it one time a week and the class was already full. It’s just not the most convenient place to stay. "

"The area was sketchy and hotel was run down. The wasn’t clean and no amenities to speak of. Cheap price but obviously you get what you pay for. "
